Hidden Gem: Solange

Following behind a megastar triple threat sister has to be a full-time job unto itself, but Solange is managing on her own. Solange has presented herself as a whole different artist than her sister Beyonce and is doing a fine job.

Although earlier in her career, Solange was typecast into a pop artist, she has now found what works for her and music that is true to her. Her latest album, “Sol-Angel and The Hadley St. Dreams” is full of mellow beats and lyrics inspired by the 60’s. Currently, Solange is working on a third album and I can’t wait for its release.
