Does Love have a COLOR?

It’s amazing to know that even in 2010, interracial love is still considered taboo, especially for women of color. Lately, there has been an increase of black women who have started to date white men and people are still looking at them cross-eyed. Personally, I think love comes in many colors, whether the person is blue, black, or green. As humans, I believe that everyone should take the chance to step out of their comfort zones and explore things that make them happy, and if that just so happens to be a person from another race, so be it.

Via Facebook Friend: “Doesn't think it makes sense that I am expected/obligated to date within my race only. While black love is beautiful, ALL love is beautiful. If I want to interracially date, that's MY business. Your hateful stares are NOT going to break me and my bf (whoever he may be at the time) up. So please, get over yourself. You don't matter."
